About Me

Choosing the right psychotherapist is an important step. More than anything, you want someone who understands what you're facing—someone who is compassionate, capable, and truly listens. As a Licensed Psychologist, I’m here to walk alongside you as you navigate life’s challenges, offering support, clarity, and a sense of hope. I know reaching out can feel intimidating, but I want you to know that I strive to create a space that feels safe, welcoming, and easy to step into.

I work with adults from all walks of life who are navigating questions of identity, relationships, and life transitions. Many come to me feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, grief, stress, and/or interpersonal concerns —and are looking for support, understanding, and a path forward.

The people who tend to benefit most from our work together are those who are curious about themselves and open to exploring the deeper roots of what’s causing their distress. My approach is holistic, meaning we’ll look at all parts of your life—emotional, physical, relational, and spiritual—because they’re all connected and deeply impact your well-being. Together, we create space for meaningful insight, healing, and lasting change.

My journey to becoming a psychologist came after a decade-long career in teaching elementary school students. Through my personal life experiences and my career as a teacher, I decided to pursue the path to becoming a psychologist. I received my doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Wheaton College (Illinois) and am licensed by the Board of Psychology in the state of Minnesota. I am an active member of the Minnesota Psychological Association and the American Psychological Association.
